165 Saved at Tijuana Brigada
We rejoice that Saturday, March 13th was a great harvest for the Lord. Months of planning, thousands of labor hours, hundreds of volunteers and much prayer, culminated in 165 adults praying with one-on-one counselors to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We are grateful the Lord continues to bless these medical events. It’s beautiful to see how God calls together doctors, dentists, nurses, evangelists, children’s ministry workers and hot-dog flippers to serve together as one body of believers for the purpose of sharing God’s love with the people of Tijuana. The children’s ministry ran a 10-station “evangelistic health fair” in the morning and a traditional VBS in the after-noon. Over 220 children attended the events and each clearly heard the good news of Jesus Christ several times. Please pray for the five local churches as they begin intensive discipleship courses with the new believers.
Thirty-four volunteers and staff traveled from the Mexican Medical office in Lemon Grove to Tijuana early Saturday morning to join with 67 Mexican volunteers in sharing Christ’s love. Five hundred services were given over the day, including medical consultations, dental care, eyeglasses and haircuts. Over 1,000 hotdogs were grilled and handed out to volunteers and those we had come to serve. It was a fabulous day of working together as the body of Christ. Click
