Dr. Dan Hwang and Dr. Kevin Song traveled from Washington to serve at La Esperanza from May 21 to 23, 2010. They gave 26 dental consults and were a blessing and encouragement not only to the patients they attended to, but also to those they served alongside.
Patients and their families had the opportunity to learn more about the Gospel through films being shown in the waiting room and to discuss spiritual issues with local believers. One family in particular had many questions about salvation, and Reynaldo "Buky" Ventura shared with them, gave them a tape with a Scripture message in their native language of Mixteco, prayed with them, and provided them with a Bible for the daughter (the only one able to read) to read to the family.
Please be praying for that family as well as all the others who received healing and hope that weekend.
