Partners in Ministry
Recently the electric power company repaired and replaced all the street light bulbs in our area. (Many had stopped working over the years) What is very interesting is that now the light directly across the street from the mission base now shines brightly on the mural. This is the mural depicting the disciples drawing the net, in Luke 5, after Jesus told them to cast their net on the opposite side of the boat. How interesting that the brightest light is now on the mural all night.
The church leaders told us that they had decided to not do their annual missions trip to save money to help the church they are starting in Ojos Negros. But the Angels asked if they raise the funds needed would they allow them to continue the mission’s trip they were planning? They affirmed the Angels desire and they youth went to work. Shortly after they started giving their money to the church account adults begin signing up also. There is room for 14 Angels (one van load) and now there is a waiting list for the Angels and more adults have signed up then there is room in their van. Pastor told us this past week that the Angels continue to lead the church to do more for Jesus.
We are thrilled to see this group of young people having a desire to serve God and others. Just as in past this past Sunday 8 of the 9 people on the worship team leading the morning worship service were Angels.
